Tiago Carlos Morais Valente (born 24 April 1985 in Macedo de Cavaleiros) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Clube Desportivo das Aves as a central defender.
Valente started his career with F.C. Paços de Ferreira in the junior levels, and was promoted to the first team in 2004, making 16 appearances with two goals during his first campaign. In 2005–06, he was loaned to second division team Gondomar Sport Clube, subsequently returning to Paços.
In January 2008, Valente was linked with a move to England second division's Charlton Athletic, with a reported fee of £1.5 million, but nothing came of it. On the same month of the following year, he was loaned to C.D. Aves until the end of the season, and the move was made permanent in July 2009.
